Madison Marathon 2024
On Sunday, November 10th, runners from across the country gathered in Madison, WI for the annual Madison Marathon. The cold and rainy weather made for a difficult race for many, but they persereved through the finish line. Let’s hear from four runners of this year’s races; two half marathon finishers and two 26.2’ers. Congratulations to all of the runners!
UW-Madison Neon Lab
UW Madison is one of only three schools in the country that offers a neon program, and it is thriving. This unique program allows students the chance to bend and manipulate glass tubing, which is then pumped with neon gas, to create art that lights up. The fall 2024 neon sculpture students are reflecting on the first critique of the year, with everyone’s first projects being completed.
The High Crowd Cafe
The High Crowd Cafe, a cannabis cafe in downtown Madison, just hit it’s one year anniversary of its opening. This business has utilized a legal loophole in marijuana regulation, and operates using Delta 9 THC-A, which is a less regulated part of the plant. This cafe acts as an alternative social space and has specialty nights like bingo, trivia, UFC fight night and mario kart tournaments.
Delicate Steve @ The Vivarium, Milwaukee, WI
Delicate Steve, is a wordless multi-instrumentalist, who creates music for the soul and sings with his guitar. While he has collaborated and toured with many of the biggest names in music, his solo endeavors are lesser known yet just as impressive. His sound is often described as mellow, progressive rock with African rhythms and soul beats.
Friendsgiving 2024
As seniors in college, we have so many memories to look back on from the past four years, and not much time left to make more. Holiday celebrations like these are what make your friends become your family, and I am so lucky to be surrounded by a group of such incredible people. Happy Thanksgiving!

As the school year kicks off, a new senior class is beginning its final year at UW Madison, and the first event of the semester was a free barbecue on the Memorial Union Terrace. This event organized the senior class to get together and start their school year on a high note with brats, live music and an unbeatable view.

The podcast was born during the 2024 Paris Olympics as we followed the current and former Badgers through their Olympic journeys, then expanded into fall sports as the seasons began.
